Santas Wonderland begins at Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops

Me exact dates and times for this year are still yet to be announced but traditionally every year Cabela's and bass pro shop post visits with Santa and a free photo. There are also fun take-home holiday craft kits. Cabela's is located at 12703 Westport Parkway in Lavista. The Bass Pro Shop is at 2901 Bass Pro Dr. in Council Bluffs

Season of lights at Midtown Crossing

This event started last weekend and is a fun walk-through of a large white LED light display throughout Turner Park and along Farnam Street. The tree in Farnam Court is also something to admire. Turner Park is at the corner of 31st Ave. and Farnam Street in Omaha

Tangier Shrine "Fez"tival of Trees

Starting the weekend before Thanksgiving on November 19 and running through the 26th. There is a two-dollar per person cost for teenagers and adults aged 13 and above. Children are free. Walk through and see beautifully decorated trees and buy raffle tickets for one dollar each to win one of the trees. There will be 60 trees and 60 winners. The winner of each tree gets the tree, decorations, and all prizes that come with the tree in the display. This fun event is at Tangier Shrine Center 2823 S. 84th St. in Omaha.

Holiday Poinsettia Show at Lauritzen Gardens

Every weekend from now through the end of December come and enjoy thousands of poinsettias on display. In the center of this breathtaking display is a 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree. Lauritzen Gardens is located at 100 Bancroft St. in Omaha.

Holiday Lights Festival

The festival begins on Thanksgiving day and runs through January 2 of 2023. Old market and north and south Omaha lighting displays will be up and ready for viewing. Come out and enjoy the lights and check out what great local events are going on in the area.

Meet Santa's Reindeer

Beginning the day before Thanksgiving on November 23 and running through December 18 from 8 AM to 8 PM at Mulhalls 3615 N. 120th St. in Omaha. Come see dasher and dancer real live reindeer! You can visit them anytime during store hours until the 18th.

Annual tree lighting and holiday parade at Shadow Lake Towne Center

The parade and lighting are the day before Thanksgiving on November 23. This is a fun free event for the whole family in Papillion at Shadow Lake Towne Center 7775 Olson Dr.
