Here's a list of fun Labor Day Weekend events in 2022 happening in the Omaha area

La Festa Italiana

This is an annual Italian festival in Omaha and is very popular and many people in the area look forward to it. Enjoy authentic Italian food and awesome live entertainment as well as opportunities to purchase local goods. The festival is at II Palazzo 5110 N. 132nd St.

There is a fee to get into the festival you can pay $5.50 by purchasing your tickets in advance or seven dollars at the door. Children under 14 are free with a paid adult.

SeptemberFest in Omaha

This is a long-standing annual state tradition taking place for more than 40 years with plenty of family-friendly entertainment including music, a Labor Day parade, a kiddie kingdom, classic carnival rides, and many more fun activities. SeptemberFest takes place at the CHI Health Center at 455 N. 10th St.

There are special times for active military and retirees and their families to enjoy free admission. These times are Friday night from 5 PM to close and Saturday from noon to five. If you are interested in only attending the Labor Day parade it is on Monday at 10 AM.

The Harvest Celebration at Arbor Day Farm

This event starts on Labor Day weekend on September 2 and runs longer through September 11. This is a festival that ushers in the celebration of all things fall as many believe Labor Day to be the unofficial start of the fall season. Enjoy you-pick apples and pumpkins as well as living history weekends. It is a fun place to enjoy fresh local produce and all of the fresh baked apple goods.
