The garden is always a fun spot year-round. At the right time during the winter you can enjoy the Merry and Bright Nights. This happens until December 31. The gardens are open from 9 am to 5 pm and kids under 3 are free. Kids 3-12 are $9 and 13 and over are $15.

In downtown Council Bluffs. Open Thursday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. This is another great activity because it is free admission. It is good to note that a parking permit is required to enter all state parks. This parking fee is just six dollars or you can purchase a year-round pass to be able to park in any state park for $31. This indoor playground is for children one year and older with an admission price of $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends.
